Beware! Three students will win in the audio slideshow travel contest
Send us your travel audio slideshow. Contest ends May 20.
As you may know by now, we’re giving away six new versions of Soundslides audio slideshow software to winners of our travel contest. The contest ends May 20, so SEND YOURS NOW! What you may not know is that three of the six awards are reserved for students. Send your submission link in the comments section below, or on Facebook or Twitter @Soundslides.
Three students will win new Soundslides software
If you’re a student, send us a finished audio slideshow about a place. It doesn’t need to be a whole trip, or even a traditional travel story. It just needs to be an interpretation – YOUR unique interpretation — of a place. It can be poetic, journalistic, simple, complex. It can be wacky or elegant, short or long. We’re looking to see your unique expression. We’ll feature winners (and others) with a Q&A on our blog.
If you’re a teacher, tell your students about our contest. Maybe create a lesson around it. This is a fun chance for students to show off their stuff.
Some great contest examples so far:
- Paula Acunzo defines “tough” with her audio slideshow about a seashell cemetery
- Paul Louis Archer explores both sides of Spain’s Christian and Moors conflict
- Tewfic El-Sawy unveils the magic of Tango
We’re revising the Soundslides audio slideshow software now and will have the new versions ready for public launch soon.
